The farm operates at exclusively biological trend.
Cultivations undergo annual rotation in order for the soil to maintain its chemical and physical characteristics.
Works on our rice fields start on january, at ploughing time. Consecutively we proceed with the levelling of the terrain and on march we go on with harrowing in order to obtain first a false seed so to eradicate the infecteed weeds. Finally in april we will obtain the seed in water which controlls all the phases of the rice field. Harvesting takes place at the end of September.
Drying does not happen in direct contact with fire; aspecific dryer is used not allowing the product to get in contact with combustion smokes.
All these phases are circularly certified by an organization of ministerial authorization and if necessary it proceeds to eventual correction of the phases in order to release the certificate of biological rice production.
